Praise the Lord my name is George Edward Patterson and I am married to Lashon Marie (Poole) Patterson. We have 15 children and 1 grandchild. I began my ministerial studies in January 2000. In 2003, I was licensed and ordained in June  under the tutelage of the late Rev. Dr. Bishop William E. Lee Stroudsburg, PA. I have held many leadership roles over the years including Youth Pastor and Assistant Pastor and Elder. In 2010, my ministerial credentials were accepted in the Baptist Church at First New Hope Baptist Church in Partlow, VA under the Leadership of Pastor Gilbert Garcia where I served there as an Associate Minister and Youth Pastor.

 

In 2012, I transferred my membership to New Destiny Baptist Church in Fredericksburg, VA under the leadership of Reverend Dr. Bishop Joel Nelson. During my time at New Destiny Baptist Church I was ordained as an Elder, served as Youth Pastor and in 2017 I became the Assistant Pastor. In 2019 I was selected and accepted the position as Pastor of Shiloh Old Site Baptist Church (SOSBC) Stafford, VA.  The Lord has placed me at SOSBC to be a servant to His people and I am humbled that He would choose me for this assignment.
